East Tennessee Farmers Association for Retail Marketing (FARM)
The Knoxville Farmers Market and the Oak Ridge Farmers Market are two of the longest running farmers markets in the Knoxville Metro area. Established in 1976 by the East Tennessee Farmers Association for Retail Marketing (FARM), the markets support sustainable healthy food choices and give growers and farmers outlets for offering locally-grown produce, meats, honey, eggs, plants and flowers directly to the public.
The Knoxville Farmers Market operates on Tuesdays at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 1001 Ebenezer Road near Westland Drive, and Fridays at the Laurel Church of Christ, 3457 Kingston Pike across from Cherokee Boulevard. Historic Jackson Square is home to the Oak Ridge Farmers Market on Wednesday and Saturdays on Broadway.
Vendors also offer locally-produced products such as fresh baked goods, granolas, jams and jellies.
