About FARM
The East Tennessee Farmers Association for Retail Marketing (FARM) organizes and operates the Knoxville Farmers Market and the Oak Ridge Farmers Market from April through November. Established in 1976, F.A.R.M. is a not-for-profit corporation whose purpose is to give small farmers and gardeners a retail outlet for their products including fruits, vegetables, ornamentals, flowers, plants, herbs, value-added products, other specialty crops and food products.
Administrative tasks are carried out with a Board of Directors, Market Managers, and Committees. Expenses are paid by funds generated from a sales commission and annual membership fees.
Members must agree to abide by the rules and requirements for membership and the by-laws of F.A.R.M. and to abide by the decisions of this organization and its Board of Directors while selling under the auspices of F.A.R.M.
